How do I know what size wig cap to order if I'm purchasing a glued hairline or a teased hairline?
Glued Hairline:
A glued hairline is designed to fit very snugly and is made to match the exact cap size you choose. We typically recommend ordering one size smaller than your actual head measurement. Our canvas heads are true to size but have a slightly different shape than a real human head, so sizing down allows the wig to contour more naturally to your head for the best fit.
Teased Hairline:
A teased hairline does not have glue applied around the back, allowing the cap to stretch and conform more easily to different head shapes. It also gives you the flexibility to trim and customize the teased hair around your ears and the back of your neck. This is a classic, old-school method that many entertainers still prefer today because of its versatility.
How do I maintain the style on my wig?
Proper storage is the key to keeping your wig looking beautiful.
- Always place your wig back on a mannequin head immediately after wearing it.
- Never leave it laying around where the fibers can become tangled or crushed.
- If your wig has sculpted waves, bangs, or rolls, replace the metal styling clips in the original positions after each use. This helps hold the shape and prevents unnecessary movement.
- Our glued styles are extremely durable and designed to last. However, avoid crushing the wig or storing it in tight spaces for long periods of time, as pressure can permanently reshape the style.
With proper care, your style should last for years.
My straight ponytail is becoming tangled. Can I restore it myself?
Absolutely!
If your synthetic ponytail starts tangling from regular wear:
- Use a garment steamer on a medium setting while gently brushing through the hair to restore it back to a silky, straight finish.
- If you don't own a steamer, you may use a flat iron ONLY on the lowest heat setting.
Important:
Never increase the heat above the lowest setting. Synthetic fibers will melt under excessive heat.
We also recommend using an oil-free wig spray to reduce tangling and maintain softness.
Do NOT use oil sheen. Oil-based products build up on synthetic fibers and actually cause them to tangle more over time.
Do you offer restyling services?
Unfortunately, most of our styles are permanently glued and sculpted into place, making complete restyles unrealistic.
If your wig features a teased hairstyle, we may be able to perform a quick freestyle touch-up depending on its condition. However, in most cases, if a style has been significantly damaged, purchasing a new wig is the better option.
Our styles are designed to last a very long time with proper care.

How do I know if my natural hair will fit inside one of your topper attachments?
Great question!
Our topper attachments are built on a medium-sized hollow base that comfortably fits natural hair up to approximately the size of a full fist.
Most customers have no problem fitting their natural hair inside our topper attachments.
How do I know if your topper attachment will fit my base wig?
Our topper attachments are specifically designed for Glitterbomb Wigs base wigs only.
The tubing diameter we use is unique to our construction, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with base wigs made by other wig makers.
When ordering a topper attachment for one of our base wigs, simply measure the length of the duct tape section on top of your base wig so we can custom build your topper attachment to the correct size.

Is shipping included?
Yes!
Free shipping is included on all wig orders within the United States.
International customers are responsible for shipping costs, which will be calculated during checkout based on your location.
Do you offer refunds?
Because every wig is handmade and often customized, all sales are final.
However, if an issue occurs that was caused by us, please contact us directly. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we'll always do our best to make things right.
Every situation is different, so we'll review each case individually.
How do I use my Rewards Points?

Every purchase earns Rewards Points through your Glitterbomb Wigs account.
When you're ready to redeem them:

Is My Wig Suitcase-Friendly?
That depends on the style you order! If you order a loose, flowing dance hairstyle, then yes—it can absolutely travel in a suitcase. The teased base will hold up well and can be worn many times. However, that doesn’t mean you’ll never need to touch it up. Any hairstyle that isn’t permanently glued will naturally loosen or shift over time depending on how often you wear it, travel with it, and care for it.
Proper storage is extremely important. We recommend storing your wig the same way you received it: on a mannequin head, secured with metal clips, with hairnets placed over the styled areas to prevent flyaways and unnecessary damage. Our wigs are made to last for years, but that doesn’t mean you can throw them around or crush them and expect the style to stay perfect!
Our glued hairstyles are much more durable and can last almost indefinitely with proper care. They are also very suitcase-friendly. However, even glued hairpieces should never be crushed or tightly packed for long periods of time. If a styled hairpiece stays compressed for too long, it can begin to hold that crushed shape.
A great option for traveling is to find a plastic storage or Tupperware-style container that is the right size for your wig and place the entire container inside your suitcase. Yes, it may take up a little more room, but it protects the wig from being crushed by clothing, shoes, and other items during travel. For more structured or heavily styled wigs, the extra space is definitely worth it!
The bottom line: Your Glitterbomb Wig is built to last, but the better you care for and store it, the longer your style will stay looking exactly the way it was intended.
